RESEARCH FOCUS:
First Berlin provides the institutional investment community with independent equity research on over 60 companies with a combined market capitalisation of approximately €6 billion and more than 16,000 employees. Our focus is on small- and micro-cap companies with low visibility and high earnings potential listed on the German stock exchanges or in the pre-IPO stage. We are committed to providing our clients with prompt, impartial, and high-quality service.

METHOD OF ANALYSIS:
Our equity research is distinguished from other research houses by our commitment to building strong, direct relationships with the companies we cover. This enables us to gain a complete understanding of the factors critical to an accurate evaluation: management, strategy, products and industry environment as well as bottom-line financials. We use proprietary risk-adjusted valuation models in setting both price targets and risk ratings.

INDEPENDENCE:
Our independence is a core principle for the company. Neither our analysts nor the company itself trade or own securities in the companies we cover. Additionally, analysts’ compensation is not directly linked to specific financial transactions, trading revenue or asset management fees. First Berlin receives no compensation from subject companies.
